I was born and raised in a small rural community in central Alberta. After graduating from the University of Alberta (1986) I knew that a smaller community near Edmonton was where I wanted to practice dentistry.

Leduc turned out to be the place I was looking for and in 1987 I opened my office, Leduc Dental Centre.  The same year I also married the love of my life LaVerne, and Leduc became home for the both of us.

Besides my passion for the dental profession, family is extremely important to me.  LaVerne and I have been blessed to have three children; Athena, Karsten and Selena and it has been a pleasure to have them as part of our lives.

Sports have always been a large part of my life, but the sport of curling stands out as another one of my passions.  Once a competitive curler myself, I now enjoy being a curling coach.  For the last few years I have worked hard to become a Certified Curling Competition Development Coach.  I have had the privilege of coaching many talented curlers over the years including my three children.
